If you’ve ever been in a pool (and I know you have), you know those cool sun reflections and bounces that you see on the walls and floors. It’s like the light joins the swimmers and plays in the pool.
Of course, it would be crazy to create a pool in the studio for every shoot you make, so we made an indoor pool and took some photos for you.
As always, we shot against a composite friend backdrop – neutral gray. Compositing is easy, simply place a reflection layer and set it to soft light blending more. Here:
P.S. if you are building a large indoor pool, make sure you use a very strong piece of glass….
